To be eligible for admission as member of the Chartered Institute Malaysian Branch (the Branch) , one must fulfill the requirements for admission as associate member of CIArb UK ( the Institute) . Briefly, candidates must have passed the Entry level course (Part 1) conducted by the Branch or any of the CIArb Branches worldwide and has been duly admitted as associate member of the Institute. Legally qualified candidate may be exempted from the Part I exam if the Institute is satisfied that the candidate has shown sufficient knowledge in dispute resolution or the candidate's qualification is amongst the list of exemptions granted by the Institute.
